Nivel de conocimiento y actitud sobre la donación de órganos en estudiantes de los tres últimos ciclos de estudio de enfermería de una universidad privada, Los Olivos – 2019

Abstract

El trabajo de investigación tiene como Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y actitud sobre la donación de órganos en estudiantes de los tres últimos ciclos de estudio de Enfermería de una Universidad Privada, Los Olivos – 2019. Metodología: De enfoque cuantitativo, correlacional, descriptivo, diseño trasversal no experimental. Estuvo conformado por 76 estudiantes de los tres últimos ciclos de estudio de Enfermería. La recolección de datos se hizo con el instrumento de cuestionario mediante la técnica de encuesta directa. El instrumento fue validado por 5 jueces de expertos con Aiken mayor a 0.60 y la confiabilidad para nivel de conocimiento con RK-20 de 0,781 y para actitud con un alfa de cronbach de 0,828. La determinación de las relaciones se utilizó la correlación de Rho de Spearman. Resultados: Del total de estudiantes en la dimensión información el 82% de los estudiantes tienen un nivel de conocimiento alto y un 46% de actitud favorable sobre la donación de órganos. En la dimensión experiencia el 49% de los estudiantes tiene un nivel de conocimiento medio y un 26% de actitud favorable sobre la donación de órganos. Finalmente, del total de estudiantes el 57% tienen un nivel de conocimiento medio y un 28% de actitud favorable sobre la donación de órganos. Conclusión: El nivel de conocimiento si se relaciona con la actitud sobre la donación de órganos en estudiantes de los tres últimos ciclos de estudio de Enfermería de una Universidad Privada, Los Olivos – 2019.

The main Objective of this research is to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the attitude shown by undergraduate students of the third year nursing faculty of the Universidad Privada, Los Olivos 2019 regarding organ donation. Methodoly: The methodology used in the present study was descriptive, correlational, quantitative in a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 76 students from the last three years of the nursing faculty. Data collection was done with the questionnaire instrument applying the direct survey technique. The instrument was validated by five expert judges with Aiken greater than 0.60 and the reliability for knowledge level with RK-20 of 0.781 and for attitude with a Cronbach alpha of 0.828. Spearman's Rho correlation was used to determine relationships. Results: Out of the total number of students of the information dimension 82% of them showed a high knowledge level of organ donation and 46% of them had a favourable attitude with respect to organ donation. About the experience dimension 49% of the students presented a medium-level knowledge whereas a 26% had a favourable attitude towards organ donation. Finally, out of the total number of the sample students 57% of them had a medium level knowledge and 28% showed a favourable attitude towards organ donation. The study reached the Conclusion that there is an effective relationship between the level of knowledge and the attitude found in undergraduate students of the last three years of the nursing faculty of Universidad Privada, Los Olivos-2019.
