The present investigation achieved its development in the cities of Trujillo and Pacasmayo; by Trujillo in the Quality Control and M&M Antón laboratories, coming to study the physical and mechanical properties of the pigmented blocks for the finishing of the walls in the town of Jatanca, Pacasmayo, which began with the characterization of aggregates from the Talambo quarry, Chepén, and with this the mix design was made for the concrete of the block that was manufactured in the Montyblock brickyard, Pacasmayo, subsequently deducing its properties using the Peruvian Technical Standards (NTP) for each test. ) corresponding; on the other hand, this research is of an experimental type due to the manipulation of the independent variable, pigmented blocks; where a certain percentage of pigment is added to the concrete mixture, managing to influence the dependent variables corresponding to the physical and mechanical properties of the concrete such as resistance, absorption, density and efflorescence; concluding that with 7% of pigment to the mixture it is possible to reach the required compressive strength of the blocks at 7, 14 and 28 days according to NTP 399.602; 2017, obtaining an average resistance of 8, 9 and 13 MPa, respectively; in addition to achieving good absorption and density.
