The main objective of the research was to analyze the compressive and flexural strength of compacted adobe bricks with the addition of 0.5%, 0.7% and 0.9% of banana pseudostem fibers, with respect to the weight of the soil, in dimensions of 5 cm, 7 cm and 9 cm from the quarry located in sector 23 - Cajamarca. The study is a multivariate experimental study with a quantitative approach, with a sample of 120 adobe bricks, elaborated in a quantity of 60 units for compressive strength tests and 60 for flexural strength tests. The results showed an increase in compressive strength of up to 183.72% for adobes with 0.9% of banana pseudostem fibers in a length of 7 cm and in flexural strength of up to 193.41% for adobes with the same combination. From the above, the increase in compressive and flexural strengths is higher than the hypothesis that established an increase of up to 15%.
