This thesis has as main objective is to r increase profitability of the process of the cane transport in the division harvest Casa Grande SAA., by means of the proposal of simulation of operations and implementation of TPM methodology in the transportation of field cane to factory. To achieve this, a diagnosis of the current situation of the company and its relationship with the international trend regarding the falling sugar prices were performed and the various factors monetary loss of the division was taken into account, making an emphasis where it will respect the procedures for distribution of cane transport activity and fleet maintenance. It is thus taking into account the diagnosis, various problems were identified whose solution could help obtain greater profitability in the process of transporting cane field to factory and therefore an increase in the indicators of hours in cargo, availability, reliability and maintainability of the fleet. Once identified the different problems and causes that cause, it is proposed the application of different improvement tools. These include: time study, drivers training plan, process simulation, preventive maintenance plan, autonomous maintenance, predictive maintenance, focused improvements and indicators. These tools allow efficient use of the fleet; availability of the fleet increases up to 85% and reduces the time in tail of cane loading up to 9%, besides increasing to 30.38 tons per hour in the transport of cane. In addition, this influences the degree of outsourcing of cane cargo and allows avoiding plant shutdowns due to lack of sugarcane, a savings of S / . 236,091.10. As a result of the application of the aforementioned tools, the company would have to invest and assume some additional costs, but at the same time I would perceive some extra income. When this evaluated economically in a period of five years, a VAN of S/.925,297.63, an TIR of 53,27% and a B / C of 1.23 would be obtained. This indicates that the proposed improvements are viable.
