ABSTRACT The purpose of this work is to determine if the degree of efficiency of Public Expenditure in the departments of Peru, expressed in this case by the Accrued, positively impacts Peru's Unemployment rate during the 2010 - 2018 period. During the development of the research work, it will be a priority to answer the main question: What is the degree of efficiency of Public Expenditure in the Departments of Peru and its impact on the Unemployment rate during the period 2010 - 2018? The research clearly has a quantitative approach to non-experimental design. Work was done based on a data panel (longitudinal) extracting its variables from various official government sources such as INEI, BCRP, MINSA, MINEDU and Friendly Consultation (M.E.F). The development of the research was carried out through a programming in STATA15 allowing to find the efficiency not only through the DEA methodology (Data Envelopment Analysis) but also through a known productivity indicator, Malmquist Index. It is substantial to explain some observations regarding certain designated variables. As already mentioned, Public Expenditure will be clearly expressed as the Accrued, understood as Accrued to the State's commitment to the services / goods that have been provided to them. Finally, the economically active population is universal, that is, it takes into account both people who have an occupation and those who, without having one, are constantly searching for a trade. Once the research work was completed, the efficiency indicators of each Department of Peru were obtained as results, allowing a deep analysis not only of each department but also of each Output. Finally, the hypothesis is affirmed that the degree of efficiency of Public Expenditure in the departments of Peru positively impacts the Economically Active Population.
