The main objective of this research was to conduct a semiotic analysis of the BTL pieces of the campaign “El Porvenir free of drugs“ of the District Municipality of El Porvenir, in 2018. In view of this, a non-experimental methodological design was used, through a descriptive and qualitative study, considering as a sample the graphic resources of the BTL media used in this campaign. Also, the observation sheet was used as an instrument for data collection, based on the semiotic analysis of the BTL pieces used by the Municipality of El Porvenir. Among the main results obtained, the use of informative flyers, merchandising such as mugs and key chains, banners, banners, roll screens and perifoneo, as part of the campaign, stand out. Also, it was found that its composition presented logos, text and illustration; as for color, exclusive use was made of turquoise, yellow, purple, fuchsia and white shades; within the typographic elements used in this campaign, it was found that in composition they used two not so hard and dynamic fonts such as Riffic Freebol and Renner Book. Likewise, the graphic resources were elaborated based on vectors to provide greater dynamism and resolution to the pieces; while the textual message of the graphic pieces is direct, simple and colloquial, which facilitates a quick decoding by the receivers.
