The research under the modality of professional sufficiency has the general objective of determining to what extent the implementation based on the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodology increases the availability of air conditioning equipment in the company COOL LIDER TECH S.A.C. throughout 2019. Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) is a methodology that allows us to increase availability; also, understand and analyze the operation and possible breakdowns of Air Conditioning equipment. The company has identified the central problem, which is given by the low availability of air conditioning equipment; That is why the RCM Methodology has been implemented and to understand the problem the analysis was carried out in the first instance through the Ishikawa or Cause-Effect diagram, with this it was possible to detect the dimensions that originate it. To achieve this goal, it was necessary to develop specific objectives such as measuring the level of knowledge of the personnel, measuring the mean time between failures (MTBF), measuring the time to repairs (MTTR) and measuring repair costs. In conclusión, an initial period availability increase from 82% to 92% availability was achieved after RCM implementation. Also, on the level of knowledge of the staff increased by 30%; the mean time between failures (MTBF), is concluded as an average of the 6 months prior to the RCM in 44.81 hours, and after the RCM implementation for the following 6 months it amounted to 77.67 hours; Similarly, the mean time to repair (MTTR) is concluded as an average of the 6 months prior to the RCM in 9.80 hours, while the average of the 6 months after the RCM implementation decreased to 6.38 hours; Finally, the repair costs presented a reduction as a result of the implementation of the RCM, it is concluded as an average of the 6 months prior to the RCM in S / .114'160.45, while the average of the 6 months after the RCM implementation decreased in S/.70'193.60. Generating savings for the company COOL LIDER TECH S.A.C of S/ .43'966.86.
