ABSTRACT Market competition is becoming more demanding and implementing technological innovation would be a good strategy to maintain and, above all, to increase the productivity and participation of the company in this competitive market. Today, companies are constantly seeing the need for automated and developed processes to guarantee the customer a high reliability since their product would be handled and processed with new technologies that guarantee a competitive product towards other companies. In this thesis an analysis and evaluation of the implementation of technological innovation in the process of cutting of templates is carried out that is realized in the Area of development of the product of the company Southern Textile Network. We start this research by locating the critical point that has the process of cutting templates. This process is carried out manually, causing delays during its execution and generating delays in the delivery of information to the production area; This is why it is necessary to propose improvements such as implementing technological innovation to achieve the goal of increasing the productivity of the company. Within the objectives is to evaluate how the technological implementation impacts the productivity of the company, affects the cost of labor and how it influences the time spent in the process of cutting templates. Within the development of this thesis, the analysis of the cutting process of templates is presented where the method and procedure used in the process is explained, the calculation of the standard time is performed and the operations diagram is developed, all this for both scenarios before And after implementation of technological innovation. For the demonstration of the hypothesis the following tools are used: standard time comparison calculation, production capacity calculations and labor cost calculations. It compares the results of each exercise, demonstrating the hypothesis presented in this project as it presents favorable results as: increase of production, reduction of labor costs and reduction of standard time; With this the stated objectives are also declared. Additionally, outside the objectives set, an economic evaluation was carried out where the working capital is determined, the evaluation of costs and expenses is carried out, the cash flow is presented with the economic analysis, resulting in a VANE and a TIRE favorable to the company. And finally, the evaluation of recovery of the investment is carried out with similar result to the previous one. The results and conclusions of the proposed technology implementation are favorable. As a first conclusion we have a productivity improvement in the cut-off process of a 129% increase in production, solving the main problem that is the limited capacity that was had to carry out the process manually; As a second conclusion we have that when implementing machine cutting plotter we managed to reduce a 56% labor cost; And as a final conclusion we have a standard time reduction of 56% in the template cutting process. These conclusions show how favorable it is to implement technology innovation in a process as it helps generate profitability and utility for the company.
