Abstract: El presente trabajo de investigación pretende determinar el uso de la iluminación natural y
confort lumínico para el diseño arquitectónico de un museo marino en la ciudad de
Huanchaco, proponiendo espacios modernos y adecuados al proyecto en donde la
población pueda desarrollar y conocer más acerca de este tipo de equipamiento.
El objetivo es la aplicación de la iluminación natural en el proyecto que está vinculado
directamente con diseño ambiental, ya que la iluminación en arquitectura debe de ser un
recurso que hay que gestionar de forma coherente en donde las emociones que puede
transmitir la luz juegan un papel muy importante en las personas. Adicionado con el confort
lumínico que es utilizado en los ambientes con un grado de importancia dependiendo de
cómo varía la hora solar, y cómo entra la iluminación durante el día ya que es necesario
calcular los niveles de iluminación considerando los límites exactos de la cantidad de luz
que se proyecta sobre las obras, para no contribuir al deterioro de las mismas. Es por eso
que debe cumplirse la iluminancia máxima recomendada establecidas por la sensibilidad
de las obras, radiaciones térmicas y aspectos de visualización.
El diseño metodológico es de tipo descriptivo no experimental; se analizaron proyectos
arquitectónicos referenciales con fichas de observación que contenían indicadores de cada
variable teniendo en cuenta el uso de iluminación natural y confort lumínico, lo que permitió
obtener pautas de diseño para el proyecto. Los resultados se contrastaron concluyendo
que el uso iluminación natural influyen en el adecuado uso de confort lumínico para los
usuarios.
Finalmente se pudo realizar una propuesta arquitectónica dirigida a la población y el
turismo, ya que se busca una mayor afluencia de usuarios a estas instituciones culturales.

The results were contrasted concluding that the use of natural lighting influences the proper use of light comfort for users. Finally, it was possible to make an architectural proposal aimed at the population and tourism, which seeks a greater influx of users to these cultural institutions.
