The objective of this research is to determine to what extent the optimization of the locations of existing bicycle stations, applying the “Maximum Coverage“ method, will improve the traffic flow conditions in the district of Santiago de Surco at present. carried out a comparative analysis with the existing bicycle stations and a section of the bicycle lanes, in addition, information was collected from magazines, articles, photographs and field visits and also for the data analysis the ArcGIS program was used with the Maximum Coverage Method and the VISSIM 9 program, with all the data collection and analysis, results are obtained that will resolve the problematic reality and the hypothesis. The methodology of this thesis is qualitative and its type of research is descriptive, because we collect, analyze, observe, and examine data that is worked on the subject, using the tools of graphs and tables. His approach is non-experimental design in cross-sectional time. In the results obtained, it is concluded that the average distance of the four existing stations is 1924.23 m and the average distance of the four stations obtained with the maximum coverage method is 2005.89 m, it was obtained in the results that 8 stations should be added. bicycles in the district of Santiago de surco, it is also concluded that the results of the average travel time in the current bicycle stations (Benavides Station - Ayacucho Station) from a starting point to an arrival point is 07: 01.3 mm and the average travel time at the proposed bicycle stations (Benavides Station - Tradition Station - Ayacucho Station) from a starting point to an arrival point is 06: 49.7 mm.
