Objective: To establish the association between obstetric characteristics and the level of satisfaction with prenatal care of pregnant women attended at the Collique III Zone Health Center, 2021. Materials and Methods: Cross-sectional, non-experimental and analytical study. The instruments used were two questionnaires, the first based on obstetric characteristics and the second on the level of satisfaction. They were applied to a sample of 73 pregnant women who attended prenatal care. Results: It was observed that a history of abortion was significantly associated with the level of satisfaction with prenatal care (pregnant women without this history indicated a high level of satisfaction of 84.9%). Abortion history was significantly associated with responsiveness (Pregnant women without this history reported a high level of satisfaction of 85%). Parity was significantly associated with empathy (primiparas reported a medium level of satisfaction of 75%). History of abortion and cesarean section were significantly associated with safety (Pregnant women without these antecedents reported a high level of satisfaction of 83.9% and 82.3%, respectively). The trimester of gestation and history of cesarean section were significantly associated with reliability (third trimester pregnant women and those without this history had a high level of satisfaction of 61.8% and 80%, respectively). Pregnancy was significantly associated with tangible aspects (primigravidae indicated a high level of satisfaction of 72.2%). Conclusion: Of the obstetric characteristics studied, only history of abortion was significantly associated with the level of satisfaction with prenatal care.
