The general objective of the study carried out under the modality of professional sufficiency was to determine to what extent the implementation of the Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodology allows increasing the overall efficiency of drilling equipment in the company M&C Solutions S.A.C. This methodology is a maintenance-oriented application that is carried out based on the probability of equipment failure and its detection long before they occur, to guarantee minimal interruptions to the production process. This modality was selected to respond to the problems of the company, in which weaknesses related to the availability, performance and quality of the machinery and equipment used in its production process were detected. To diagnose the problem, continuous improvement techniques were used such as the Cause-and-Effect diagram and the Ishikawa diagram, to then proceed to the implementation of the phases that make up an RCM plan and respond to the specific objectives, which consisted of in measuring availability, performance and quality levels after the implementation of the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodology. The results of the investigation made it possible to determine an increase in the levels of each of the dimensions in the two teams that underwent the RCM process. 1) In the case of Model 535 pipe threading machine 1, there was an increase in availability from 88.9% to 97.3%, and for the case of roll grooving machine 2, availability improvements of 92.4% were observed at 96.0%. 2) In the case of Model 535 pipe threading machine 1, there was an increase in performance from 81.5% to 85.56% and for the case of roll grooving machine 2, the performance was from 86.3% to 91.19% 3) In the Model 535 pipe threading machine 1, an increase in quality was perceived from 92.4% to 96.7%, and in the case of the roll grooving machine 2, an increase in quality was perceived from 92.4% to 97.1% 4 ) An improvement in the overall efficiency of the equipment was observed; Since in the Model 535 pipe threading machine 1, an increase in OEE from 67.1% to 80.5% was observed, while in the roll grooving machine 2 the increase was from 73.7% to 85.0%.
