ABSTRACT This thesis was conducted in order to establish the benefits of the export culture in trinitarian cocoa producers in Huarango District, San Ignacio Province, for the export of organic chocolate to Seoul City - South Korea, 2017. In order analyze the current situation of cocoa production, the situational analysis of production and Ttrinitarian cocoa producers’ was developed, an interview was addressed to agrarian specialists in San Ignacio agency; technicians in the cocoa production process, the implementation of these instruments allowed to establish the benefits of the development of exporting culture in trinitarian cocoa producers. The diagnosis of the situation of production allowed to establish the characteristics of cocoa production, seasonality of production, to define the process of cocoa crops, tools and technology used to establish the types of pests that affect production, to set the need for the producers to initiate a manufacturing process of raw materials. The study on tastes and preferences on consumption of chocolate made allowed us to establish a highly potential market for the entry of organic chocolates filled with native fruit to Seoul City. The economic - financial study conducted contemplates the investment plan, analysis of production costs of organic chocolates, analysis of operating expenses and assessment of the feasibility of the project through financial statements, such as the Balance Sheet, cash flow, etc. Finally, the economic and financial viability of the project is demonstrated through the results showing profitability ratios, and our net present value (NPV) of S /. 183,225.06 and the internal rate of return (IRR) of 20%.
