The purpose of the present research is to explain how a correct management of online reputation in Facebook in communication students of IX and X UPN cycle can strengthen their employability. The study was developed in an analytical way taking into account a sample criterion specified by the author. This sample was conformed by the students of the faculty of communications of the last cycles. Compiling and analyzing the data according to the online reputation management variables (where the dimensions are monitoring, evaluation and participation) and employability (the dimensions are education, Basic Skills and Basic Competencies). These results are exposed in the fourth chapter of the present investigation. In addition, in this study recommendations have been detailed to be taken into account in future research, based on the entire analysis performed. Among the conclusions it is evident that the majority of young students of communications of the last two cycles have eliminated negative content of their profile for fear that they may harm their application in some possible work and they know that it is important to filter the negative information and eliminate it through of online reputation management. These results allow us to affirm that the content that we publish in our Facebook profiles within a hiring process influences employers when they see negative or inadequate information.
