This research study proposes an Occupational Health and Safety Management System based on the implementation of current legal norms: Law No. 29783 on Safety and Hygiene at Work and its Supreme Decree No. 005-2012-TR, its Law amendment No. 30222 and its Supreme Decree No. 006-2014-TR, and finally the Ministerial Resolution No. 050-2013-TR that takes place in Unitrade S.A.C., a company dedicated to the storage service of several simple products and customs, Callao - Peru. It was specified that the implementation of the occupational health and safety management system will be developed in 2018, with an annual cost of S /. 109 597.77; therefore, it has been suggested to senior managers of the company, the hiring of a competent professional who is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the OHS-MS. The benefits that Unitrade S.A.C would obtain through the implementation of the system were determined; among them is the economic benefit to avoid administrative infractions that then result in fines imposed by the State auditing entity, all for violations of occupational health and safety, this cost amounts to S/ 463 015.50 per year. On the other hand, we consider that the reduction of costs for work accidents is also another economic benefit, amounting to S/ 14 175.18 per year approximately; this offers a Benefit / Cost ratio of S /. 4.35 for each Sun (S/ 1.00) invested in the implementation and maintenance of the OHS-MS, without considering other benefits that the Unitrade SAC would obtain, such as: improvements in the productivity and integrity of the personnel, improvements in work environments and climate of work, increase in the level of job satisfaction, decrease in absenteeism, image of the company, etc. This study has four chapters and each one takes different aspects related to the company's OHS. In Chapter I, the methodology of the investigation of this thesis is presented, the development of problems, the justification of the study, background and objectives of the work to be done. In Chapter II, the theoretical and legal framework of an occupational health and safety management system is detailed, different considerations of dangers and risks present in the economic activity of the sector and other important concepts. In Chapter III, the initially proposed objectives are developed and the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System is designed to identify the current situation of Unitrade S.A.C in terms of OHS, hazard identification, risk assessment, implementation of control, formats and records to be used, procedures and plans to be executed, so that they are easily monitored and reviewed to comply with legal requirements, reduce accident rates and improve the performance of the organization based on to Health and Safety at Work policies and objectives. In Chapter IV, the results of the implementation and maintenance of an OHS-MS were finally developed, developing the final conclusions and recommendations of the proposal, hoping that this work will serve as a reference for other companies of the same economic category or as subjectf study of others researchers
