The objective of this research was to point out the relationship between self-esteem and psychological well-being in students of the first psychology cycle of a Private University in the city of Lima; through the quantitative approach methodology, basic type, non-experimental design, cross section; descriptive-correlational scope. The probabilistic sample consisted of 149 students to whom two questionnaires were applied as an instrument: thus, the questionnaire adapted from the Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale (EAR) and, on the other hand, the questionnaire adapted from the BIEPS Psychological Well-being Scale. Likewise, the inferential results consider a confidence level of 95% and the Spearman's Rho test determined, on the general hypothesis, a value of r = .354 and a p-value = 0.000 (p < .05). concluded that: There is a relationship between self-esteem and psychological well-being in the students of the 1st cycle of the psychology career of a Private University, Lima 2022; considering that the higher self-esteem there will be greater psychological well-being and; The lower the self-esteem, the lower the psychological well-being.
