The thesis being presented seeks to conduct an analysis of the current issue involving the district of San Juan de Lurigancho in 2022, determining the housing deficit of collective housing, due to the high demand and low supply, with the objective of reducing the gap and applying the criteria of sustainable architecture to design collective housing in the population of socioeconomic level D and E, being the sector with the greatest deficit, to provide them with sustainable housing with character and improve their quality of life, through a qualitative methodology by the collection of non-numerical data that is descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional based on the observation and data sheets of documentary analysis and data sheets of the six selected cases that contribute to the investigation, through the collection of data from different authors, which determines the twelve final guidelines utilized in the project after crossing the technical and theoretical guidelines, resulting in the importance of mixed natural lighting (diffuse and direct with solar control), cross and unilateral natural ventilation, a visual landscape composition composed with the implementation of native vegetation with low water consumption, the use of devices intended to save the consumption of water, the use of a photovoltaic solar system with solar panels, the implementation of a septic tank to supply the irrigation of all green areas, and the use of eco-materials in the structural elements and finishes, to finally design a collective housing in the NSE population D and E in the district of San Juan de Lurigancho 2022, adapting to the natural environment, with low energy and water consumption, managing to generate a project that guarantees the well-being and development of the residents, under the criteria of sustainable architecture.
