Today, due to the great demand for the operation of Information Technology (IT) services, companies have the need to implement a more solid structure in technology such as server virtualization on a cluster for high availability, in order to ensure the continuity of its IT services that it provides to its users and / or clients. The main objective of the study is to determine how the virtualization of servers on a cluster influences the high availability of IT services in the company SODIMAC Central Office. Using ITIL fundamentals, it was possible to determine how the virtualization of servers on a cluster influences the high availability of IT services, we were able to observe after the implementation of the server-on-cluster solution and based on the results that it is possible to overcome the availability rate of 99.995%, thus concluding that IT services reach high availability and this value positively determines that server virtualization on a cluster influences the high availability of IT services in the SODIMAC Central Office company. It is also achieved determines the good results of the influence of reliability, availability and user satisfaction for IT services. We can conclude that the results are positive and meet the objectives of said applied research, it is certain that said information from this study will serve as a guide or material for future researchers.
