The study carried out analyzes the use of memes on the Facebook fan page of the National Police of Peru during the Covid-19 pandemic. For this, a qualitative methodology was used, supported by the technique of observing 100 memes published on the Facebook fan page of the National Police between January 2020 and August 2022. The investigation shows that the memes published on the fan page of Facebook of the National Police of Peru during the Covid-19 pandemic are not only related to the coronavirus but also present messages that have as a context situations or problems that Peruvian citizens go through on a daily basis, including citizen insecurity, harassment, traffic accidents and more. All this content is published as a preventive measure to raise awareness in society and prepare it for such acts.
