Relación entre configuración espacial con base en la teoría Open Door y el confort perceptual en el diseño de un hospital de salud mental para la ciudad de Trujillo

Abstract

RESUMEN Desde tiempos inmemorables, la sociedad ha relegado a las personas que sufren trastornos mentales tratando de apartarlas de su ámbito social cercano. Con el paso del tiempo, esta idea ha sido arraigada en el pensamiento colectivo. Al tomar una actitud pasiva frente a esta situación estamos estigmatizando y marginando a estas personas por su condición, ingresándolas más a más es un ciclo crítico. Al analizar el problema de Salud Mental en el Perú, podemos concluir rápidamente que el Estado no cuenta con infraestructura descentralizada que sea adecuada para atender a este porcentaje población vulnerable. Esta investigación busca determinar criterios de diseño para una propuesta de Hospital de Salud Mental en la ciudad de Trujillo, basándose en la relación entre la configuración espacial con base en las teorías Open door, las cuales dejan de lado los tratamientos privativos tradicionales para dar paso a los no-restrictivos; y el confort perceptual, tan necesario en el diseño de infraestructura que cuenta con internamiento, como la ya mencionada.

ABSTRACT Since immemorial times, society has relegated people with mental disorders trying to put them away from their immediate social environment. Over time, this idea has been ingrained in the collective thought. By taking a passive attitude towards this situation we are stigmatizing and marginalizing these individuals for their condition, entering them more at a critical cycle. Analyzing the problem of Mental Health in Peru, we can quickly conclude that the State doesn't have decentralized infrastructure that is suitable to serve this vulnerable population percentage. This research seeks to determine design criteria for a proposed Mental Health Hospital in the city of Trujillo, based on the relationship between the spatial configuration theories based on Open door, which set aside the traditional privative treatments to make way for non-restrictive treatments; and perceptual comfort, so required in the design of features placement infrastructure, such as the aforementioned.
