Implementación de un sistema de gestión de seguridad y salud ocupacional en las empresas mineras: una revisión sistemática entre los años 2010-2019

Abstract

La presente investigación se basó en el análisis de los Sistemas de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional como parte de un Sistema Integrado de Gestión en empresas del sector minero. Logrando así, recabar documentos de distintos países alrededor del mundo en los cuales se hacen uso de estos sistemas. De esta manera, el objetivo de esta revisión sistemática fue identificar las distintas estrategias que utilizan las empresas mineras para implementar un sistema de gestión de seguridad y salud ocupacional. Así como también, determinar las características que estas estrategias tienen y las similitudes que podemos encontrar mediante comparaciones. Como resultado del completo análisis de los distintos documentos y los casos de empresas mineras en el mundo, se pudieron delimitar estrategias basadas en 4 categorías o enfoques distintos para una adecuada implementación de un sistema de gestión. Estos aspectos fueron: los programas, acciones y medidas establecidas; el nivel de importancia y participación de los niveles empresariales; el cumplimiento de las normas y reglamentos; y el nivel de certificación de medidas.

This research was based on the analysis of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems as part of an Integrated Management System in companies in the mining sector. Thus, obtaining documents from different countries around the world in which these systems are used. In this way, the objective of this systematic review was to identify the different strategies that mining companies use to implement an occupational health and safety management system. As well as, to determine the characteristics that these strategies have and the similarities that we can find through comparisons. As a result of the complete analysis of the different documents and cases of mining companies in the world, it was possible to define strategies based on 4 different categories or approaches for the proper implementation of a management system. These were: the programs, actions and established measures; the level of importance and participation of the business levels; compliance with the rules and regulations; and the level of measurement certification.
