ABSTRACT It presented five years ago about an increase in demand for ready-mix concrete in the construction category in the city of Cajamarca and the investment in the construction of moles appeared in this period, so new needs and greater requirements in analysis process so as to improve productivity. The problem posed indicates to what extent it will improve productivity through the modification of the production process in a ready-mix concrete company in the construction category; Thus having provided historical data July 2014 July 2015 breaches certain characteristics of indicators is observed; also there is still no thorough analysis to determine the causes of the failures that occur; is also considered to be productive processes should consider the optimal use of time resource is crucial as it affects the other indicators such as punctuality, overtime and processing times; indicators that are taken for making business decisions; and analysis of productivity measuring mixer/day, m3/day, m3/hh, m3/sol, thus affirming that the productivity will be improved by modifying the process of concrete production in a construction company for the category as stated in the hypothesis. With the previous database time study method was applied by continuous timing, using the System Recovery System Westinghouse and Supplements to determine and set the standard time improving productivity; also it is vital the participation of employees in the area of operations to meet these new standardized times, since these are the direct participants in the production process, therefore the training also play an important role. Finally, to solve the problem the proposal to improve productivity was raised by modifying the process of concrete production in a construction company category.
