The protagonism that the person has taken within the organization during the last decades, has stimulated a great number of investigations based on how to attract, maintain, motivate and retain the best collaborators, in order to continue contributing with the objectives of the organization; The present investigation aims to know if there is an incidence between job satisfaction and organizational commitment in a Hotel Chain in the city of Cajamarca. Focusing on knowing the relationship of both variables, a review of the conceptualization of job satisfaction based on Herzgerg's Theory of two factors was carried out. At the same time, the organizational commitment was studied based on the Theory presented by Meyer and Allen, identifying their Background and consequences. This allowed us to identify the factors and variables that predict the behaviors, for which the 58 employees working in the different areas of the Hotel Chain were surveyed, considering the variable job satisfaction with its two factors (intrinsic and extrinsic) and the variable organizational commitment in its three dimensions (affective, normative and continuous). The results indicate that there is a positive correlation between satisfaction and organizational commitment; an R of Pearson = 0.783 was obtained which determined that there is a positive relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment of the collaborators of a Hotel Chain in the City of Cajamarca; for which the hypothesis was accepted. Finally, after the results obtained, an improvement plan was proposed focusing on the intrinsic factors in order to optimize job satisfaction and encouraging continuity commitment.
