Los sobrecostos de operación de una empresa constructora de la región La Libertad

Abstract

RESUMEN

La construcción civil en todos los lugares del mundo, cumple un rol muy importante en la economía, debido a que es una actividad generadora de empleo en mano de obra de forma intensiva, al estar estrechamente ligada a otras industrias y por lo tanto, genera un efecto multiplicador; tal es así, que por cada puesto de trabajo en construcción civil, se generan cuatro puestos de trabajo en otros sectores.

Las empresas del rubro de construcción, carecen de herramientas de gestión que les permita controlar eficientemente sus costos operativos, generándose sobrecostos y volviéndolas menos rentables.

La presente investigación, tiene como propósito identificar los sobrecostos de operación de una empresa constructora de la región La Libertad en el año 2015.

Luego de la aplicación de las estrategias utilizadas, se concluye que la empresa constructora de la región La Libertad, se ve afectada considerablemente por la generación de sobrecostos operativos, en un 3.25% con respecto al costo total presupuestado, entre los cuales los que tienen mayor incidencia son los sobrecostos por materiales los que representan el 66.91% del sobrecosto total.

Se propone el empleo de un sistema de indicadores y herramientas de gestión como el Balanced Scorecard, Análisis FODA, Matriz de priorización, Análisis de Causa-Efecto, Lluvia de ideas, Diagrama de Pareto, entre otras, que permitirán realizar seguimiento a los objetivos de manera permanente y así poder aplicar medidas correctivas oportunamente, a fin de evitar la generación de sobrecostos operativos, que a la empresa la vuelven menos rentable.

ABSTRACT

The civil construction in all parts of the world, plays a very important role in the economy, because it is an activity that generates employment in labor intensive, being closely linked to other industries and therefore, generates a multiplier effect; this is so, that for each job in civil construction, four jobs are generated in other sectors.

Construction companies lack management tools that allow them to efficiently control their operating costs, generating overcharges and making them less profitable.

The present investigation aims to identify the operating overcharges of a construction company in the region of La Libertad in 2015.

After applying the strategies used, it is concluded that the construction company of the region La Libertad, is affected considerably by the generation of operating overcharges, by 3.25% with respect the total cost budgeted, among which those with the highest incidence in the material overcharges which represent 66.91% of the total overcharges.

It proposes the use of a system of indicators and management tools such as the Balanced Scorecard, FODA Analysis, Prioritization Matrix, Cause-Effect Analysis, Brainstorming, Pareto Diagram, among others, which will allow to follow the objectives in a way permanent and thus be able to apply corrective measures in a timely manner, in order to avoid the generation of operating overcharges, which make the company less profitable.
