The present investigation entitled “Impact of the use of Information and Communication Technologies in the virtual modality classes in university students of I and II cycle, Cajamarca 2020“ has as a general objective to determine the impact of the use of ICT in the classes of the virtual modality in the first and second cycle students, Cajamarca 2020. The research is of a descriptive correlational type, on the other hand, this is an investigation with a quantitative approach, experimental design and cross-sectional. For this research, a sample of 113 first and second cycle university students was used, two surveys previously validated through expert judgment were used and a normality test was also carried out for the variables in question. In conclusion, there have been no problems in the management of information and communication technologies, on the contrary, according to the value of significance which is less than 5%, indicates that ICT not only impact positively but also significantly, this facilitates the development of their studies and the use of time to carry out other activities, finally, there was no negative impact of the use of information and communication technologies in the virtual modality, in first and second cycle students, Cajamarca 2020, quite the opposite, students were already familiar with ICT before entering the university.
