Today, ccompanies compete in the markets, testing their skills, to survive and generate value, which is their main objective. In addition, they combine their resources, actions and initiatives in a productive way, trying to minimize their costs. Much of the success of a company depends on how to carry out procurement management, since it offers the possibility of having real-time control of the products in a totally reliable and accurate manner; that is an efficient material handling within a company increases productivity and achieves a competitive advantage in the market. Property and services acquired that the company needed to guarantee the supply of quantities, such as quality, price, raw materials, finished products and supplies that move periodically from one place to another in the most efficient manner. However, this can be hampered by an inefficient management of purchases, the distribution and classification of materials for the manufacture of footwear which allows them and the time of the times, which results in a low profitability for the company. That is why a diagnosis was made of the supply management of the company during the period from January to July of the current year, so that, by indicators, it has identified the needs of purchasing management and storage of materials and supplies , in terms of orders delivered on time, orders received in full, the time that elapses between the moment the order is placed, in which the product is physically received, the quantity of orders received in poor condition, material in first place received in warehouse, returns of raw material left over; finding flaws, weaknesses, delays, etc., that the company does not put emphasis on the logistics chain.
