This thesis consists of a proposal for improvement using lean Manufacturing tools in the production areas at the footwear company Industrias Bricelly EIRL. The objective of the study was to determine the impact of the Implementation of the Lean Manufacturing methodology on the operating costs of the production area in the company Industrias Bricelly EIRL. After the diagnosis in the production area, according to the applied methodology, the study selected the engineering methods such as: SMED, Guerchet, 5´S method and TPM. Then the economic and financial analysis of the improvement proposal was carried out. The result of the analyzes carried out with the methodologies allowed us to reduce a total of S / 47,461.16. The costs generated by poor plant distribution were reduced from S / 15,756.39 to S / 6,105.60, productive activities increased by 72% to 83%, and the hours of plant stoppages due to lack of order and cleaning were reduced by S / 11,539.09 to S / 2,359.10, and with the implementation ofTP it was possible to reduce the stops from 344 to 124. With an investment that, per year, allows us to obtain a Net Present Value (NPV) of S /. 136,113.90 with an Internal Rate of Return of 215% and having a Benefit Cost (B / C) of 3.1.
