The present research aims to determine the Special Interest Tourism (TIE) activities that can be carried out in the waterfalls of Cochecorral. The theme of Tourism of Special Interest is seen as a set of specific and specialized features made by tourists who travel to know an area related to their personal interests. The type of study is non-experimental, transverse and descriptive. The sample was 119 tourists between national and foreign who arrived in the city of Cajabamba, for which they applied the instruments such as the survey and an observation sheet of activities that can be developed in the tourist resort. It is thus that the Tourism of Special Interest involves the different forms of tourism that allow to develop activities by their characteristics and conditions of the cascades of Cochecorral with sustainability and therefore the tourist development. On the other hand, the community of Lluchu does not have the basic services required in the observation sheet, since some homes are located in areas difficult to access. Finally, the accessibility is regular, the route goes from Cajabamba to the community of Lluchu, is affirmed. So, it needs to be asphalted and signposted. Finally, after having applied the relevant instruments, the research responds to the objectives set, determining the activities of Tourism of Special Interest (TIE) that can be developed in the waterfalls of Cochecorral.
