The present study reviews all aspects related to geometric design in order to identify if the geological characteristics of the area between the Los Angeles Bridge and Ricardo Palma can determine a lower road risk. The Geometric design of this project was developed with the calculations and analyzes focused on the transport and road design part to adjust the projected road in the double-axis Tunnel section to the geology of the place, satisfying standards of safety, service and operation. The objective of this research is to prepare the Road Safety of the project, which is established based on technical considerations and the current regulations of the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC). The results obtained establish a positive relationship between the implementation of this innovative geometric design according to the geological characteristics in the section already proposed, for this reason they present an affinity in the results with various investigations related to the research variables; since they are constituted as decisive axes in reducing the risk of road safety. The limitation that has been had to develop the present work in the first place is the economic issue to be able to carry out geological prospecting with deep drilling, however, the geometric design proposal presented focuses on the definition of the designs in plan, profile and cross section.
