The purpose of this research was to determine the design guidelines for a library park proposal based on passive acoustic comfort strategies in the Víctor Larco district, in order to achieve its purpose; that is, an educational and cultural building that in turn serves as an inclusive and integrating focus, where the objectives are linked to establishing and applying passive acoustic comfort strategies in its design. The applied methodology is based on a review of architectural background that helps to understand the behavior and functioning of the architectural object and the importance of an adequate acoustic treatment for libraries, specifically regarding volumetric, formal, materiality and sound quality aspects for educational and cultural spaces. Indeed, according to the preliminary analysis, it was specified that there are three main conditioning guidelines of the design: acoustic conditioning, sound insulation and acoustic geometry. At the same time, through case analysis and research, a list of guidelines was obtained that was applied in the final proposal for the building. The implementation of these criteria guaranteed spaces with optimal sound quality. On the other hand, the equipment was provided with large gardens and lounge areas with the intention of promoting social integration.
