Any company, process, activity or task can be optimized, the companies of the 21st century have opted for the implementation of technology and continuous improvement techniques in their production processes and administrative processes in general, in order to reduce costs and provide the best products or services. The objective of this research is based on increasing the productivity of a bus company that aims to be a market leader. As competition is increasingly extensive and customers are more demanding, differentiation is sought not only in prices but also in quality, a product that is profitable. Therefore, one of the production processes of the company that corresponds to the autoparts manufacturing area was studied, waste that originated during the process were identified, generating costs of S / 30,665.78 Nuevos Soles per month, as well as a productivity of workforce is around 62%, 21% reprocessing of monthly production and delays of 64%. Therefore, by means of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques, the changes are eliminated or reduced according to each case, reducing the costs they generated to S / 4,814.07 Nuevos Soles per month with a labor productivity of 91%, reprocesses of 2% and delays reduced to 19% during the first month of post-implementation evaluation.
