This research is about “Tourism Infrastructure for People with Physical and Motor Disability in the tourist attractions of The Trujillo’s Historic Centre.” Tourism is not indifferent to vulnerable populations, in this case to people with disabilities, who have some difficulties in the development of its activities and free displacement; however, as every citizen is entitled to the leisure or enjoyment through tourism. The research shows the reality of tourism infrastructure, which tourists and citizens with physical disabilities continually face in the Historic Centre every day; through the evaluation and description of the infrastructure, indicating the level of accessibility or lack of it in the tourist attractions of The Trujillo’s Historic Centre, obeying basic accessibility features. People with physical disability represent a large potential market worldwide, due to its increase. Consequently it's considered necessary that Trujillo, especially the Historic Centre should improve the deficiencies shown in terms of accessibility for these people, including them and respecting the basic infrastructure requirements in each of the tourist attractions. Unfortunately the support and assistance provided to people with disabilities is insufficient; which affects to the population and tourists with disabilities, having an impact in decision making to choose a travel destination. The initiative and synergy of public and private entities are necessary to improve the environment conditions and attract more tourists. For this reason the sustainable adaptability of tourist attractions is unavoidable, it brings inclusion and provides benefits to the entire society in the long term. The development and growth of a tourist destination depends on its accessibility for all, principally if you satisfy a “vulnerable“ segment of market probably you'll satisfy the market in general.
