This research work was carried out with the objective of describing the incidence of factoring in the liquidity of the company HIM Proyectos y Consultoría SAC, during 2017, since it represents a new and beneficial alternative for the company in terms of compliance of its obligations short-term. It was considered as a non-experimental, mixed approach, cross-sectional and correlational research methodology. Due to this reason, the population was taken into account as experts on the issues of factoring and liquidity in the district of Santiago de Surco during 2017, in addition to interviews with 2 experts responsible for the areas of Administration and Finance. In the same way, an interview was conducted with the Financial Manager of the company Mantto Group S.A.C, who has been working with this financing alternative. Furthermore, these interviews are key to the present study of the variables. It was applied as techniques: the interview and the documentary analysis. For the 2016-2017 period, it is determined through a comparative chart of the financial situation and the income statements, the use factoring affects the liquidity of the company through the investigation. The final results will allow this modality to be identified as a financing mechanism in order to deal with the need for liquidity in a timely manner, which will enable the HIMSAC company to have the cash flow for an adequate development of activities.
