The objective of this thesis is to determine the impact of the Improvement Proposal in the Logistics and Production Management of the “María Pía“ footwear soles, on the Operational Costs of the company CONFORFLEX S.A.C. To carry out this, first a diagnostic stage will be developed where the following techniques will be used: Ishikawa Diagram, Survey, Prioritization Matrix, Pareto Diagram, and Indicator Matrix, and from that it was identified that currently the losses generated by the Logistics area are of 462,586.11 soles and represent 61.61% of the total losses; while the losses caused by the Production area are 288,296.91 soles and represent 38.39% of the total losses. Then, an improvement proposal will be made through the application of tools, focused on reducing the operational costs that are currently subject to the company. Subsequently as results, it can be said that through the implementation of ABC, Coding, Kardex, Storage Conditioning and Layout, economic benefits were obtained, of 105,357.82 soles, with only an investment of 5,888.42 soles. While thanks to the DAP, MOF, Evaluation and selection of suppliers, documentation of the process and SMED, economic benefits were achieved, of 246,109.79 soles. On the other hand, the MRP II improvement tool was developed, through which economic benefits of 333,396.50 soles were obtained. The Inspection Plan of the Injected area, the productivity indicators, and the elaboration of a task assignment schedule, obtained 14,875.45 soles of economic benefit. The development of a Training Plan generated economic benefits of 46,740.34 soles. And finally, the development of a preventive maintenance program for the injection machine, through which economic benefits of 1,428.04 soles were obtained. This is how, with a total investment of 111,742.63 soles and an opportunity cost of 10%, the implementation of this Improvement Proposal in the company CONFORFLEX S.A.C. it is profitable; since the NPV, being equal to 148,523.99 (result greater than 0), reflects that the current net benefit is much greater than the investment, and has even generated additional benefits. Also, with the TMAR calculation, based on the country's Inflation Rate, (2.22%) and considering the Investment Risk of 10% (this being a medium risk assigned to projects that have a variable demand and competition considerable, as is the case with the shoe sole industry); it can be concluded that because the IRR (35.80%) is greater than the TMAR (12.22%), the project is profitable. In the same way, the PRI indicator shows that the return on investment will be obtained in the fourth year after having implemented the improvement proposal in CONFORFLEX S.A.C. Finally, it can be said that this project is viable, given that the Benefit / Cost ratio is greater than one, which means that for every cost sun, I get 10 cents more in profit.
