This thesis entitled “IMPROVEMENT PROPOSAL BASED ON THE MRP SYSTEM FOR THE OPTIMIZATION OF INVENTORIES COSTS IN THE INSTALLATION PROJECTS CARRIED OUT BY THE COMPANY C&M SUPPLY S.A.C. DURING THE YEAR 2023” shows an improvement proposal based on a tool for inventory control, such as the Material Requirements Plan (MRP); having as main objective to determine the economic impact that this would generate. To carry out this research, as a first step, the ABC classification is used as a tool to determine the materials with the greatest effect on the investment of the company C&M SUPPLY S.A.C. Subsequently, a forecast method is developed for each chosen material and the reliability level is verified with the Tracking Signal tool. Then, the safety stock is determined and the MRP is developed for the periods January 2023 - December 2023. Finally, it is possible to obtain the magnitude of the maintenance, order and per item costs for the year 2023. When analyzing them, a saving of S/. S/ 157,326.77, which is equivalent to 16.82% in relation to the total inventory costs without the proposal, which correspond to the values of the year 2022. Likewise, it was possible to obtain a NPV with the value of S/ 148,874.18 and an IRR with the value of 30%, allowing to satisfactorily recognize the viability of this Project.
