The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between learning styles and study habits in university students of a private university in Metropolitan Lima. It was developed under a quantitative methodological approach, non-experimental design, cross-sectional and correlational scope. The sample consisted of 109 psychology students who were administered the Honey-Alonso Learning Styles Questionnaire and the Study Habits Inventory (CASM-85). The results indicate that the value of Sig. (bilateral) ,001 which is lower than α (p<0.05), and the Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient was ,578, which indicates that there is a significant, positive, direct relationship with a moderate correlation strength. Therefore, students who present high values in study habits are related to high values in learning styles. The limitations of the study revolve around the fact that the instruments were self-administered, the participants are not representative of the university population, and the study was carried out during the period of confinement due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
