The present project is part of the field of engineering, in the field of “Analysis and Design of Algorithms“, where through the processing of geospatial data and the use of optimal route algorithms will generate optimal alternate routes that will be provided in time real by means of a mobile application with the purpose of proposing better road routes to the drivers avoiding traffic jams due to incidents such as vehicular traffic, municipal works, traffic accidents and others, within the road network of the city of Trujillo. The type of study is experimental with pre-test and post-test design. The sample consists of a total of 33 drivers who were randomly chosen in the city of Trujillo. To obtain the necessary data, a graphic map questionnaire was used, where the routes within the trips of the drivers of the mentioned company are shown. The FreeOffice 2016 tool was used to analyze the data. The results obtained according to the hypothesis tests that were developed had an effect of improvement within the indicators, such as: The travel time per driver is a reduction of 34%, the distance traveled from travel per driver is reduced to 8.6%, the number of incidents avoided per driver increases to 60.32% with the proposed application. For all the above we can conclude that the mobile application of optimal route algorithms had an effect of improving the displacement of drivers of vehicles in the city of Trujillo, 2018 The project will be made up of four fundamental parts: • Obtaining and preparing geospatial data. • Design and presentation of maps • Generation of optimal routes, through optimal route algorithms. • Incident data manager. • Statistical data management of optimal routes management. • The mobile application
