In this work entitled “Photovoltaic panels and roofs for the design of a sports center in the district of La Esperanza“, a bibliography was developed as the basis for an architectural proposal, evaluating solutions regarding the use and application of systems for heating and cooling of the interior spaces of a building, with a system of vegetation cover, which for its placement, must previously solve the structural thermal bridges of the building, but even this is complemented, with the use of photovoltaic panels; as its own renewable energy source, the same that respects the environment. It is for this reason that the placement of the volumes for the greatest capture of solar emission occurs with photovoltaic panels, the same; with which the design of the envelope is generated, in search of generating electricity for the operation of the building. The plant cover in the terraces in the same way help to achieve greater area with vegetation for the interrelation of the different types of users within the Cultural Center, in a context that creates sensations with the use of plants, which also help to reduce CO2, for its own benefit and for the basically residential community, which is affected by the pollution indexes produced by the presence of the market in the sector; the air conditioning of the same one when reducing the use of conditioned air in summer and the reduction of loss of heat in winter, in sum; it occurs with the use of EPS, which functions as insulation, used as an additional material to the traditional ones in walls, floors and terraces, since it is foreseen to solve the thermal bridges within the structural system of the building. The system of vegetal cover and photovoltaic panels make viable the architectural proposal, being passive solutions that do not present environmental impact and even more balance their previous investment in future time, during the operation of the same.
