The present investigation proposes to reduce the production costs and increase the profitability of the company Pedregal S.A. In order to achieve this objective, it will be necessary to have a planning and control of the suitable production, to manage the inventories and to make the requests of materials in the quantity and in the opportune date. In this sense, the MRP II model is an adequate tool to manage production planning and control, based on compliance with established work procedures, which initially estimated a loss of s /. 15,407.12 soles. When implementing the MRP II it is reduced by 65% with a monetary value of s /. 5,407.89 soles. Also, an initial loss of s /. 70,450.4 soles for the absence of work procedures, reducing by 60% with a value of s /. 28,180.18 soles. In the same way, there was a loss of s / .788 due to the lack of control of budget compliance, decreasing by 31% with a monetary value of s /. 545.36 soles. While in the area of Quality there was a decrease in costs of 24% with a monetary value of s /. 216,274.18 soles of the total observed in the diagnosis that reaches s /. 284,410.41 soles through the application of statistical quality control tools. Likewise, the loss due to the absence of quality indicators corresponded to the value of s /. 68,117.56 soles, reducing by 82%, that is, s /. 12,324 soles through the implementation of the Deming cycle, training plan for good manufacturing practices and work instructions. Finally, a financial evaluation was carried out in which a NPV of s /. 287,201.50 soles and an IRR of 236.04%, which means that the project is viable.
