ABSTRACT This research framed in the field of architecture and urbanism, determines the characteristics of multisensory spaces that can be applied to spatial design of a Children's Cultural Centre in the sector 13 of the city of Cajamarca. From this perspective seek to create optimal space and comfortable conditions, which are not only functional, but contribute to user learning, experiential learning; contemplating the sensations that can provide spaces according to their specific treatment areas where greater opportunities for change and development will be generated through culture. This project aims to refurbish an urban area of Cajamarca have been abandoned in terms of equipment and social field, giving the population a better quality of life and social development through an infrastructure that generates dynamic culture. The method is descriptive, transeccional not experimental. By diagnosing features multisensory cultural spaces, categorized by their function and user, the analysis of cases of International Cultural centers and interviews with experts Cajamarquinos where the characteristics of the child user requiring a multisensory feature are highlighted. First was diagnosed District of Cajamarca so Macro, showing its general problem to determine the type of project, this served to establish that would be a project of the Cultural field. The expansion area of Cajamarca, where the specific area to study because of its social problems was determined was then analyzed. As a third step the sector studied demographically and economically, determining the characteristics of the immediate child user. Then it delves with an analysis of the multi-sensory characteristics that must be considered for cultural spaces, by age, which will help us determine the functionality and complexity of the spaces of the Children's Cultural Center. The analysis of international cases will serve to validate the multi-sensory features that require these spaces, initially supported the theory. Then, these features are applied in the design of the spaces project. Conclusions: The most relevant multisensory characteristics to be considered in the design of multisensory spaces for the Children's Cultural Center is determined.
