The purpose of this study was to understand the association of emotional exhaustion and sociodemographic factors in a sample of 239 nursing students from a university in Metropolitan Lima. Under a quantitative approach of correlational scope non - experimental design and cross-sectional study. For this the Emotional Exhaustion Scale and the Sociodemographic Sheet were applied the result of which showed that there is a medium association between economic level and emotional exhaustion a low level of association between fatigue and workload, a medium level of emotional exhaustion and workload. familiar. On the other hand it is evident that depending on the academic cycle and emotional exhaustion, their degree of association is not significant which indicates that being in a lower or higher academic cycle does not cause emotional exhaustion to occur. Finally emotional exhaustion is significantly associated with the sociodemographic profile because being in a degree and having a workload family burden and economic level leads to damage that may affect the person in the academic area social and family of nursing students.
