Abstract: La presente investigación tuvo como propósito determinar la relación entre el estilo de apego y el bienestar psicológico de los estudiantes de secundaria de un colegio del cono norte de Lima. Es una investigación de diseño no experimental de tipo correlacional transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 317 estudiantes de 1ero al 5to de secundaria, la misma que se determinó mediante fórmula para población conocida con un nivel de confianza del 95,63%, con error máximo permitido de 4,37% y con 50% estimado de población con las características de estudio. Para medir las variables se utilizó el Cuestionario de Relación (CR) que evalúa los estilos de apego predominantes y la Escala de Bienestar Psicológico para jóvenes y adolescentes (BIEPS - J) que evaluar el nivel de bienestar de acuerdo a su percepción.
Los resultados mostraron que existe una correlación significativa (X2 = 14, 162, Gl = 6, p < 0.028) entre los estilos de apego y el bienestar psicológico en general. A nivel especifico se encontró que existe una correlación significativa cuando se tiene en cuenta la edad de 15 y 16 años (X2 = 12, 995, gl =6; p < 0.043), sin embargo, no se encontró relación al tomar en cuenta el sexo de los participantes y las edades de 11-14 y 17-19.
Se concluye a nivel general, que los estilos de apego y el Bienestar Psicológico se relacionan significativamente, a nivel específico, también hay relación cuando se toma en cuenta la edad entre 15 y 16 años. No se halló relación cuando se toma en cuenta el sexo y las edades entre 11 -14 y 17-19 años.
The present investigation was to determine the relationship between attachment style and the psychological well-being of the high school students from a school of cone North of Lima. It is an investigation of non-experimental design of cross-correlation type. The sample was comprised of 317 students from 1st to the 5th high school, which was determined by formula for population known with a confidence level of 95,63%, with 4.37% MPE and estimated 50% of population with the characteristics of study. The questionnaire of ratio (CR) which evaluates the predominant styles of attachment and the scale of psychological well-being for young people and adolescents (BIEPS - J) to evaluate the level of well-being according to their perception was using to measure the variables. The results showed that there is a significant correlation (X 2 = 14, 162, DF = 6, p < 0.028) between attachment styles and psychological well-being in general. Specific level is found that there is a significant correlation when you consider the age of 15 and 16 years (X 2 = 12, 995, DF = 6; p < 0.043), however, no relationship was found to take into account the sex of the participants and the ages of 11-14 and 17-19. It is concluded at the general level, that attachment styles and psychological well-being are significantly related to specific level, there are relationship when one takes into account the age between 15 and 16 years old. No relationship was found when one takes into account the sex and ages between 11-14 and 17-19 years.
