ABSTRACT This research paper focused on the Soil and Concrete Laboratories of Civil Engineering at the Universidad Privada del Norte; in which students, graduates and teachers do class activities such as development and research topics. In previous researches, conducted by the bachelor Dante O. Minchán Saldaña, situational diagnosis of these laboratories was performed, in which are a number of shortcomings in both the management and the technical part. Identifying as a base point of this investigation the lack of standardized information such as protocols and guidelines for the development of tests within laboratories; it defined as the main objective of this study, propose and validate protocols and guidelines testing laboratories Soil and Concrete of the School of Civil Engineering Universidad Privada del Norte - 2016. The methodology was based primarily on the use of standardized methods and use of standards developed by organizations recognized nationally and internationally. And for validation was used the methodology of Cronbach's alpha, which is a coefficient used to measure the reliability of a measurement scale, being used for this research Likert scale. To carry out the validation of these instruments, the collaboration of experts in the field is needed, being teachers (Civil Engineers) of the Civil Engineering, responsible for validating because of their knowledge and professional experience. Both the validation process and the development of protocols and guidelines were performed in order to meet the technical requirements outlined in the standard: ISO / IEC 17025 for the Accreditation of Testing Laboratories. With the development of this research, it seeks to reach 93.51% reliability of the proposed instruments and validated by that; subsequently they are applied and standardized in such study laboratories.
