The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and use of emergency oral contraceptives in young women from the Responsible Sex Education Volunteer, Lima -2020. In materials and methods, it is a quantitative study, of a non-experimental design, of a descriptive and correlational type. The data collection technique was through a questionnaire, with prior informed consent. The population was all women aged 20 and 29 who completed the training program of the Responsible Sex Education Volunteer. The sample consisted of 57 women. The results indicated that the vast majority are between 20 and 24 years old (64.9%), are single (89.5%), their level of education is university (96.5%) and they are from the Faculty of Science. Health (73.7%), profess the Catholic religion (63.2%). In addition, the age of initiation of sexual intercourse was 16 to 19 years (56.1%), they have had 2 to 5 sexual partners (52.6%) and the condom is the most used method (31.6%) On the other hand, no statistical significance was obtained between the level of knowledge and the frequency of use of the ECC (p = 0.29), promptness of use of the ECC (p = 0.31) and the reason for use of the ECC ( p = 0.052). Conclusion, there is no evidence of a statistically significant relationship between level of knowledge and use of emergency oral contraceptives in young people from the Responsible Sex Education Volunteer.
