The purpose of this research was to determine, through the application of Carta Balance, the improvement of productivity in construction works of limited ductility in the Bellavista District. In the first instance, the works of buildings of limited ductility active in the district were identified and it was determined that they were 03. Once the works in which the study would be applied had been identified, the facilities were visited and after that, the “checklist” measurement instrument (self-authored) that demonstrated the deficiency in the control of labor productivity. Next, the Weekly Productivity Reports (ISP) prepared by the construction companies were obtained and through the information recorded in the reports, the activities with low productivity levels were identified; in the case of Project 01 it was “Steel Fitting”, in the case of Project 02 it was “Formwork” and in the case of Project 03 it was “Flooring”. With the activities identified, the sampling was carried out through direct observation of the work crews in charge of the execution of the aforementioned activities and this information was later recorded in the Balance Letters used for the study. Subsequently, the results of the Balance Letters were processed, finding low levels of productive work in the three activities. Once the possible causes of the low level of this indicator were identified, the corresponding corrective measures were applied. Finally, a second evaluation of productivity was carried out through Balance Letters in the 03 works, achieving an improvement in the percentages of productive work in each activity equal to 29% in “Steel Fitting“, 16% in “Formwork and 36% in Solaqueos. . Through these results, the improvement in productivity through the application of this tool was ratified and demonstrated. Likewise, labor efficiency and productivity ratio indices improved.
