The objective of this report is to carry out the study of soil mechanics and structural design of the El Ángel municipal cemetery in the Parcona district, Ica-2024. A complex problem is faced that covers both soil mechanics and the seismic analysis and design of the project. On the one hand, the lack of a study of soil mechanics and structural design exposes the cemetery to risks of stability and collapse due to the possible presence of unstable soils. For this reason, the mechanical soil study was carried out first, then the structural analysis and design of the project. The results obtained demonstrate the study of soil mechanics, the soil is Silty Sand according to SUCS, with a bearing capacity of 1,393 kg/cm2 at a depth of 1.20 m and 1,642 kg/cm2 at a depth of 1.50 m, the soil quality is good. Through the chemical analysis carried out, then through the structural analysis the maximum inelastic drifts reaching 0.002 and design for the resistance of reinforced concrete of the structural elements meets the minimum requirements established by the standards (RNE). In conclusion, the project has been satisfactorily completed, providing a solid foundation for the safe and lasting construction of the project.
