The research raised the following problem: How does the improvement of the demand prediction process, through Rolling Forecast, influence the budget of the company CELAEP SAC? In addition, he proposed as an objective: to determine the influence of the improvement of the demand prediction process, through the application of Rolling Forecast, in the budget of the company CELAEP SAC in the city of Cajamarca. The hypothesis proposed was: the improvement of the demand prediction process, through Rolling Forecast, improves the budget planning of the company CELAEP SAC. The study used as techniques: the documentary review and the analysis of the scatter plots to diagnose the company's demand prediction process. The results of the diagnosis show that a static process prevailed in the company, and that in the historical behavior there are cases in which the total cost was greater than the income, for which economic losses were registered; In addition, such cost obeys a polynomial function, which points out that it is difficult to obtain an adequate forecast. In this sense, the research proposed a new way of prediction, using Rolling Forecast. The central result of the study indicates that the improvement of the demand prediction process, through the application of Rolling Forecast, is positive, since the budget decreased by 23% on average, in this way the influence of the application of Rolling is proven. Forecast in the Celaep company demand prediction process.
