The objective of this thesis was to determine the impact of the training plan on the job performance of the administrative staff of the Human Resources Management of the National University of Trujillo - 2016. This research was carried out with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design with a correlational descriptive design, that is, the variables considered were first described (Training and Labor Performance), then the case correlations were made to determine what the level of association between both variables is. The sample population was 34 collaborators, the validity and reliability of the questionnaire was determined by the Guttman two halves test which showed a very high reliability (0.708), which follows a normal distribution according to the Kolmogorov test of normality. It was concluded that there is a positive impact of the training plan on the job performance of the administrative staff of the Human Resources Management of the National University of Trujillo - 2016, with correlation analysis between both variables, using Pearson, which is significant with a p = 1.49E- 03 less than 5% of standard significance, which showed that Training impacts on Work Performance, in a degree of average positive correlation. Finally, it was recommended to improve the application of the training plans by guiding the training courses to include a greater motivational component and a higher academic requirement, which will result in a better predisposition of the personnel to carry out their functions.
