ABSTRACT Until the end of the last decade, housing demand served by the formal market basically came strata A and B, being very limited in the lower income strata. However, the market for these two layers has experienced excess real estate, driven mainly by the “boom“ of urban construction, which saturated a segment whose size is relatively small. Meanwhile, revenues from this segment have been affected in recent years, reflecting lower demand for better quality housing and informality so multiplied in the technical aspect for the construction of such housing. In this analysis, the multi buildings as an alternative solution to the above problems, whether cast by conventional or modern systems like confined masonry walls are taken Ductility Limited. The parameters evaluated in this investigation were the same in both cases having such as having the same architecture, soil survey, etc. In structural analysis of buildings, it is common practice to specify the seismic accelerations acted directly on the foundation level. Taking the following results: “With regard to structural behavior we found that the system of walls ductility Limited provides less deformation and tends to be stiffer why their failure to seismic can be explosive, meanwhile wall system confined masonry tends to be more ductile as was found in the analysis and that is why before seismic stresses, deformations tend to be much more pronounced and have an explosive failure. “
