This systematic review describes the choice of the most efficient and effective heavy metal remover in water for human use and consumption. The objective was to compile theoretical and empirical literature on heavy metal removers in water for human use and consumption. The systematic review was carried out under the PRIMAS strategy within the methodology, obtaining the different information from databases, Scielo being the search engine with the most articles found, with 6 selected articles. The pages that served as the database had institutionality, academic prestige and parenting criteria in the last 10 years. Having a total of 98 articles, which were filtered until having as results 20 scientific articles that corroborate the in-depth analysis that was carried out. And complying with the answer to the research question and the objective, concluding that the most effective and efficient heavy metal remover is the Kinetic Degradation Fluxion, which is a water filter of alloys of different metals, in order to remove soluble particles based on foreign studies.
